KENYA FACING A SHORTAGE OF REHABS

Most drug addicts willing to undergo rehabilitation are locked out because a majority of drug abuse treatment and rehabilitation facilities are privately owned. There is also a serious shortage of treatment centres for females with regional imbalances in availability of treatment facilities countrywide. NACADA now wants the government to scale up provision of rehabilitation services in all public health facilities in the country for easy accessibility and affordability.
