The government of Kenya through the Ministry of Health has hinted on the willingness to expand maternity services across the country.
Though the health CS, Cleopa Mailu, the government said it is engaging both the private and public sector in a bid to ensure that all expectant mothers get attention within the hospitals that are within their localities. Mailu said that the government is in the advanced stages of ensuring that Christian mission hospitals and even those sponsored by the Muslim community offer free services that are rendered in the public hospitals.
