Principal Nurse Tutor 

Maseno Mission Hospital School of Nursing is a faith based organization responsible for developing highly qualified human resource base for offering nursing education (Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse). The school of nursing now seeks to fill the following position.

Principal Nurse Tutor (School of Nursing)
1 Position

Reports to: Managing Director


Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Heads the Nursing Training Institution
  • Planning and Coordinating students theory and Practical learning.
  • Organizing master rotational plans for students learning experiences.
  • Coordinating the development and review of training curriculum and programmes.
  • Ensure high standards of nursing education.
  • Coordination with the Nursing council and other relevant institutions/authorities.
  • HR Management: recruiting of Nursing School personnel, updating job descriptions and Performance  appraisal and management of all the personnel working in the Nursing School.
  • A Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Nursing or KRCHN with DAN from recognized institution.Masters  degree in Education in any  of the following fields: Health Care Management, Nursing Administration and Psychology will be an added advantage.
  • Must be a committed Christian with at least 5 years in Nursing practice and 3 years post internship teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer relations skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Finance and Economics.
